These days there is not much more than this in the way of service that you are entitled to and it is not enough to just acknowledge that you aren't getting treated the way you should now the airlines are actually offering you a way to get treated like an important person each and every time you travel as long as you are willing to pay an extra fee.

For only $35 - $50 more, every time you travel by air, you can pay to be treated as a person and move to the head of the line. You can check your bag in front of everybody, get through security in the breeze, and even be one of the first people on the flight if you choose.

All this extra service for a fee leaves one to wonder whether the troubles with the service, in the airline industry, are not intentional just to get you to pay extra to have the kind of service that you desire, the kind of service that you deserve. When you look at it, this entire issue almost appears to be a ploy in order to make more money for the airlines; depriving their customers of service merely to offer to give it back to them if they are willing to pay an additional fee.

Naturally, this method of luring in business does not seem to really be benefiting the industry, in the fact that a whole lot of travelers are choosing to fly with a private jet charter instead so that they can get the comfort and service which they desire. This switch that's being made by many people has got to be affecting the airlines in a substantial way financially.

Shouldn't good service simply be a part of the package instead of something that you need to pay extra for? It just seems that if you're paying hundreds, even thousands, of dollars for an airline ticket that it should come with, at least, a small token of good customer service. It just stands to reason. For now if you decide that you want to fly with a commercial airline then you need to either forego the service or pay extra to get to your destination with ease. The choice is yours but they won't be giving you anything for nothing.
