Usually mental disorder such as panic disorder has accompanying physical symptoms, which can be treated effectively with medications like beta-blocker, e.g. propanolol. Benzodiazepines are generally used to give instant relief to the patient suffering from this mental disorder. Some of the benzodiazepines categories of medicines are clonazepam and lorazepam.
There are lots of other medicines that can be used for panic attacks treatment, but you must be sure not to go over board with these medicines as they could potentially cause serious side effects due to excessive usage.
