These are all very important questions, especially when using curly hair like wet and wavy hair for your tree braids.

Why Tree Braids With One Pack of Hair Makes Sense:

If there ever was a time to embark on a tree braids or hair extensions project to see if it is possible to use one pack of hair instead of two, this present time is as good as any. Of note, the hair industry is doing very well- too well I think, in light of the present economy. The hair industry is now a 2 billion dollar industry from just 5 years ago at 1 billion dollars. Yes, the hair industry is doing very well, while most hair budgets in hard working households are going south. There is a direct correlation here: the price of commercial hair has steadily climbed up, while job losses continue to increase, meaning that if there were no job losses, women would still find it a little difficult to buy the commercial hair, anyway. With demand for commercial hair growing during the recession, the price of hair is not coming down any time soon.

Demand Drivers:

Tons of women whose hair budget has shrunk along with the depression are sometimes wistfully wishing that one pack of hair was all they needed to get their tree braids and hair extensions done. Women are buying expensive hair so they can continue to have beautifully groomed hair. However, a handful or more of these same women expect to pay little to nothing to their hairdressers! Now there is an interesting story. Unless hairdressers find a way to cash in on the commercial hair industry to even out costs and earnings, some may have to close shop- and they have! Too many calls from braiders tells that story.

But wait, don't laugh just yet- it may be possible for some women- not all women can wear one pack of hair for their tree braids. Deciding factors include size and circumference of client's head, and whether or not client must wear a cap for their job. Hats are ok though. For example, some military personnel must be able to fit their hair under a cap. Bet that didn't come to mind first thing when you started reading this article, right? In this deep recession, people are sometimes forced to do without, but when it comes to getting their hair done, by George, that hair is going to get done, willy nilly. Nothing scarier than seeing someone dressed in a suit with gollywog hair or natural unkempt hair. So that's how the one pack tree braids was born However there are few takers. Not everyone can get tree braids with 1 pack of hair.
