Truck Driver Advice What To Do When The Company Is Sitting On Your Chest.

. Do not get behind the ball. You need to stay ahead of the game. Here are some ways to know that you are behind the ball in trucking:

1. The company treats you like property. You are hosed when your employer fails to recognize your individual contributions and efforts to the bottom line. The truck does not drive itself it needs a driver to accomplish anything. However the driver is only one piece of the total pie from the eye of the company. They have provided the equipment, the diesel fuel, and the customer. You are not in a high leverage position, in my eBook i explain how you can get leverage and get treated at least equal.

2. You borrowed money from your employer. Don't do this. You don't want to owe the person that is supposed to be paying you. This is just a simple rule to remember. Borrow from someone else or go without. My eBook I explain how you can raise money when you need without going into debt. This is important to remember throughout your career.

3. You are not getting loads or you get the sucky runs. You are getting screwed by your company. Some trucking companies are known for playing favorites there is not much you can do. My advice, try to talk to them about it in a professional way. Don't present problems find solutions and talk to them in a manner that benefits you and them. If this doesn't work check out the go trucking page and find another gig.

If you see one of these signs you should be concerned if you see two or more then I really recommend you consider going independent or switching to another trucking company that will treat you with more respect. You get out of life what you put into it if you are not getting from an employer what you are giving them then it could be time to move on.
