Donald Trump is completely at home with publicity

. Now he's in the limelight again after purchasing multi-level marketing company Ideal Health. He is going to relaunch the company as the Trump Network in the fall of 2009. The existence of complaints about this new venture mainly has to do with Donald Trump himself, not with the company's products.

The first among the complaints would be from those who remember Donald Trump's past remarks about multi-level marketing. As a guest, at Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show", he openly ridiculed Amway MLM company and the people involved in it as well.

Donald Trump was reportedly asked by Oprah Winfrey a few years back what he would do if he went bankrupt again. He said he'd start an MLM. The audience booed, to which he delivered this stinging reply: " That's why I'm sitting up here and you're sitting down there.

The company is trying hard to ensure that there would be no complaints regarding its distribution process. They sure work like a horse to make sure they have adequate product supply ready by the November launching. It is less likely that people will complain about the products sold by the company, because they seem to be well-researched quality products. It will be an interesting sight, the way they handle the pressure of the intense distribution expected this fall.

Complaints against the Trump Network will come from two distinct populations since it is an MLM too. Either the unhappy customers of the physical products or unhappy members will be the source of complaints. The company can keep real malcontents to a minimum if they have good policies before the launch.

Here's my big issue regarding the complaint department. It is common with internet marketing in general, and not limited only to this particular company. I'm not sure if the MLM companies are giving their members the education they need to be really successful.

A thorough education on marketing is required in order to succeed with multi-level marketing. MLM tend to concentrate only on those techniques that will bring them the most number of sales. Members not only miss out on the opportunity to earn additional thousands of dollars but they are not learning any new marketing techniques as well.

With the internet, new marketing techiques could literally spring up overnight. The training provided by big companies simply couldn't adjust fast enough to compensate. Online marketing courses can.
