In the typical divorce scenario, the husband and the wife can read the writing on the wall

Tip Number One: Have Reliable Transportation. Again, just like we stated above this one is kind of common sense but keep in mind the consequences of not having reliable transportation during the process: you will not be able to drive to and from work in order to earn money; if you cannot earn money then you cannot afford to retain your attorney; if you cannot afford to retain your attorney then ultimately you will end up having to represent yourself in the court room.

Tip Number Two: Make Sure You Hire The Right Attorney. When we say 'hire the right attorney' what we are really saying is that you should hire an attorney whose services are reasonably priced, has a good reputation both online and in the community, and make sure that you and the attorney are able to communicate well with each other.

Tip Number Three: Make Sure Your Family Members And Close Friends Support You. During the final months of the marriage and well before the divorce ever gets filed, contact each one of your family members and close friends and make sure that they know about the divorce and that they are willing to help support you both financially and emotionally during this very complicated time in your life.
