All surgical procedures have risks and a mini tummy tuck is no different. Some of the risks for this procedure are: swelling, allergic reactions, bleeding and blood clots. You may also experience side effects such as numbness in your abdomen.

Despite that, there are those who would opt to get the mini tummy tuck and endure the temporary setback. With just about every surgery, there will be some kind of temporary discomfort. However, if you follow the post-surgical instructions from the surgeon, the pain and uneasiness that you feel will become a distant memory. You will still need to rest and eat the right foods in order for you to get back to normal, without the excess fat and loose muscle.
