One of the top places to look for fashion ideas and inspiration is on television. From the characters on Gossip Girl, 90210, Revenge, New Girl and Pretty Little Liars the fashion trends are everywhere. The cast of Pretty Little Liars kills it every episode with their Spring frocks and you can always rely on Gossip Girl to forecast the upcoming fashion trends. During any episode of Gossip Girl Lily van der Woodsen, played by Kelly Rutherford is the queen of cocktail dresses. She always looks polished, put together and on par with the seasons top trends. From cap sleeves, to lace, to embellishments on her clothing, she always looks her best. Serena, played by Blake Lively is always one step ahead in fashion. Even in the rain she looks impeccable with an ombre rain coat and matching boots.

The CW is a home to Gossip Girl, 90210, Pretty Little Liars and so many more shows that girls anticipate week after week. Hit show on the CW 90210 always guarantees viewers a chance to see top styles. Anna Lynne McCord who plays Naomi on the show, spends her days shopping and having fun. She threw an event in a blue halter dress that showed one of springs hottest trends, maxi dresses and in another episode wore wide-leg pants and funky prints. This signaled the return of 1970s cool. Pretty Little Liars character Spencer, played by Troian Bellisario is always one step ahead shows off her legs in dresses and pulls in so many trends from colorblocking to socks and boots.

Zooey Deschanel is new to prime time television, but not to fashion. Her New Girl character is is cute, girlie, and slightly goofy, but her fashion stays ahead of the game. She has been seen pairing together emerald green and cobalt for a colorblock look and the perfect feminine spring look. She keeps it causal most of the time in ballet flats, the perfect shoe for girls. This years break out villain Emily Van Camp on hit show Revenge is no stranger to the spotlight and her closet is stocked with the seasons hottest trends. She regularly wears lace a huge trend for spring prom dresses 2011 and has closet full of little black and red dresses, every style setters staples.

So whether you are addicted to the CW, ABC Family or other prime time networks, the plotlines on these shows are excellent but its the fashions that keep girls tuning in every week. So when you cant decide what to wear to your next event, turn on the television and let the inspiration flow.
