Yes, simple answer. But the way to do it effectively is not so simple as you might think. Follow these 3 simple steps and you are on the right direction to success.

Step 1: Get Some Followers

If you are new to twitter, followers are those persons that follow you. Whenever you make a post on twitter, your followers will see it. If you just created an account then you dont have any followers. The way i recommend you to start getting followers, is to check the profile of someone that you like, and start following those people that she/he is following. If she/he is following those people, than most likely they share the same interests, which are the same ones you share. Start following those you want, and some of them will follow you back. This is how you get your first followers.

Step 2: Build a Relationship

I highly recommend you to NOT start making sale posts at the start. People will see you as someone that is there only to sale things.They might block you or just ignore. Talk about yourself and what you are doing. People love to know things about others. If you can help people with any questions they have, than do it. That will also increase you credibility. Being friendly will get you more followers overtime, which later will be great to promote whatever you want.

Step 3: Start Promoting & Making Money

If you have build a relationship with your followers and have a good number of them, then its a good time to start promoting whatever you want. VERY COMMON MISTAKE: Dont start spamming them with your product, or the time you took to build that bond with them will be just a waste. You MUST keep being friendly and ONLY promote your product some times a day, in a friendly way. Dont make like 10 posts every hour. They will just ignore you. I would not recommend more than 10-15 promotional posts per day. Be friendly and helpful and you will be rewarded.
