There is a very popular saying that the majority of people know like the back of their hand

. It is: Men are from Mars and women are from Venus. This saying is truer than you can imagine. The most basic thoughts between men and women are infinitely different. The definition of dating is a classic example.

When women date, they look for someone they can ultimately share their lives with. When men date, they do it to have fun.

Men can casually date indefinitely. If you are the woman that can keep him interested, he will date you until he feels the relationship should change, for better or worse. A man worth keeping will take the relationship to the next level; he will realize having you in his life will make it better. That is, if you are actually enhancing his world. Sadly, you may not be and merely think that you are. In that case, the relationship will either remain at a standstill or eventually dwindle away.

Forcing him to take the next step will not change the relationship for the better. It may give him a feeling of pressure and cause him to withdraw or even run from you. If you have to force him to take the next step, maybe you should consider he might not view you as Mrs. Right.

Emotional insecurity is the need to constantly point out all his shortcomings while avoiding your own. Men dont want a woman that constantly criticizes him or points out his faults and failures. When you live in a glass house, you should not throw stones. Your constant analysis of him may actually be you hiding behind your own faults and shortcomings. Ask yourself is he the only person in the relationship that can use some self-improvement?

Freedom restraints are when you make him choose between the things he likes to do and you. Are you making him decide whether to hang out with his boys or stay home with you? He may decide that he has to give up too many of the things he loves in order to be with you. He may also decide that he likes those other things more than he likes being with you. Be careful making him choose between you and them. His ultimate decision may not be the decision you want.

Instead, have fun with your man. Avoid the bad qualities that can kill a relationship. Make it easy and interesting to spend time with you. Get him hooked on the joy you bring to the relationship; hell be the one seeking to change your status from dating to serious.
