With building muscles there is no quick fix, in fact to build muscles will take weeks, months and even years to achieve a truly defined body. Due to the slow rate of muscle growth most people give up from working out. Generally the ones who give up do not understand the effort and dedication required to achieve results. It is a 24 hours a day job building muscle and not just 1 hour in the gym a day.
To improve your chances of creating muscle there are two essential factors that you need to stick too.
Train Intensively
To build muscle fast stick to the basics and train hard and keep the intensity up. Lifting your maximum weight will overload your muscles and stimulate muscle growth. While training you are required to lift your maximum weight and yet still holding form and shape this way you are using more muscles surrounding the key muscle which in turn increase muscle. Such exercise is called compound exercises which involve more than one muscle group, excellent examples are squats, dip and bench press.
Eat Correctly
Building muscle goes beyond just the workout and in fact building muscle is 80% diet and 20% in the gym. We need an increase in calories with the correct balance of Protein, carbohydrates and fats.
Dont just go out and use your dominos pizza coupons and buy a pizza for your calories. Calories will give you the energy levels that you require to train intensively and the protein is the element that builds your muscles. Carbohydrates are the nutrient that makes our energy though glucose that is stored in our muscles for when we need them. Fats are used for the repair of cell membrane and should not be removed completely from our diet.
