Car battery is very important for running of car

. The main purpose of a battery is to start the engine. Without a battery, car or any other automobile cannot run. Moreover, it is also used for to filter and stabilize the power. It also provides extra power for ignition, lighting and other accessories when engine is incapable of handling all the things. When charging system is not working, the battery provides power to the electrical system.

The battery of your car lies under the bonnet. For proper functioning of the car, it is important that you take proper care of your battery. If the battery of your car is not working properly or getting weak, you cannot start your car easily. You may have to push-start it.

Most of the car batteries that are well maintained can last for two years. But, some of eth technologically advanced batteries can last for 5 years also.

While buying a new car battery, you need to consider several factors. Climate of a place is also a factor which influences your strategy for buying car battery. If you are living in a hot climate, you will need a battery with higher RC rating and if you are living in colder climates, a higher CCA rating would be required.

There are two most common types of car batteries; low-maintenance and maintenance-free. (Non-sealed and sealed) The low maintenance batteries are made up from lead-antimony/calcium formulation. It is dual alloy or sealed. These batteries offer several advantages such as longer life, less preventive maintenance, faster recharging, reduced terminal corrosion, greater overcharge maintenance and longer shelf life. However, these batteries are more prone to deep discharge failures due to increased shedding of active plate material. In hot climates, it is recommended to buy non-sealed batteries because, you can add water when required which is not possible in sealed batteries.

Keep them isolated. With growing technology, more expensive batteries will be available in future.
