Types Of Crusher

Crushing Equipment is one of the machines used for compaction of objects like compactors

and rammers but it is used mostly in industrial purposes to cut the objects into small pieces or sometimes into powder form. Crushers are also used to compact the sizes and weights of objects when it forces to compact.

Uses of Crusher:

Crusher may be useful for many industries of life because it can compact sizes, masses and volumes by its unbelievable compaction power. It can be seen on sites for reducing sizes of rocks and stones into small pieces sometimes in dust. You may see the crusher at packaging sites for reducing the sizes and volume of packages. On other hands, they are used for crushing the waste materials for making it easily recyclable.

Types of Crusher:

Basically, crushers are divided into five types according to different shapes and industrial qualifications. Have a look at these five types of crushers!

Jaw Crusher

Jaw crusher can be said as the common crusher because it is normally used for mining, quarried materials, recycling and many other industrial main tasks. Jaw crushers mainly divided upon two vertical jaws and one connecting rod so both of the parts are important for processing of materials. There is one fixed jaw but the other can be moved forward and rewind to crush the materials like gravels and stones. When rock passes through the jaw crusher the jaws punch the rocks and convert them into small pieces. It gets done because vertical jaws are farther from top and nearer from bottom.

Gyratory Crusher

Gyratory crushers are little bit different from jaw crushers with its design and processes. Gyratory crushers are consisted of three main parts like conical heads, concave surfaces and slightly rotatable cone. When rocks placed under these crushers rocks become smaller due to the interaction between surface and heads of crushers. They can be mostly seen in the primary mining and processing plants.

Cone Crusher

Cone crushers are designed for ore and mineral crushing because it has features to work in the mines. Cone crushers work on one main spindle that is fixed with surface under vertical position. Spindle gradually moves from left to right and right to left, a set of jaws fixed on the top of spindle open close one by one and make gaps through which the ore passes and get crushed before escaping from gaps.

Impact Crusher

Impact crushers are consisted of plating hammers and impact liner-plate which is so useful for crushing the stones and rocks by impaction rather than pressure. They usually used to crush the stones, gravels, seeds and rocks but also can be seen while crushing minerals like coals. When the object passes through the crusher cone it pressurized by the hammer connected to the rotor which hits it to liner plate and process continues to the next hammer on rotor before escaping point.

Compound Crusher

Compound crushers are visually and work-fully similar to the cone crushers because it has perfect set of features according to users needs. Compound crushers perform the same work like cone crushers but the process is little bit change or different. It has an abrasive plate so it is also called abrasive crusher used to crush the very hard objects like mining rocks and building materials.

Crushers are considered as one of the important machines while you are working in the mines or planning to cut-off the things into small pieces. From consumer to industrial, these Types of Crushers really rule every field of life by completing different unbelievable tasks!
