Types Of Inks Used In Stamping

Using any type of stamping, rather its an acrylic metal stamping

, clear acrylic stamps, rubber based or foam and what mode you are using to color your stamps, rather its paint, ink, marker or anything else. I bet, you already tried the all to get the best results and selected the one medium out all to get the best results.

Before stamping, be assuring that the surface in which you are stamping is flat, clean and stable so that you can stamping your dies comfortably. While using sheet metal parts for stamping, end up with a flat map for clarity and it makes you to concentrate in your work while using this.

Cover all your work with scrap paper. Its the most important thing you need to do when you are doing your work. This will keeps your work clean and also provide the rough place to try all your colors you wish to apply on your stamping. Its all your time to do any kind of experiment with colors on scrap paper. Once you finalize the colors you want on stamping and can be able to create a master piece of your work.

Secondly, keep proper care of your stamps. Make sure stamps you selected for work is dry and very clean, Even a straw of feathers, fur, hair will resist the color of the ink. And when you begin with stamping of your image, there are white spaces left behind where that straw, a hair or fluff was. You can feel these white spaces yourself with plain eyes. And the worse thing of this white space is, it can stick to the surface of image in stamping and you need to do extra coat to cover these white space.

While changing the color or mode of stamping, take your time to be assured that your stamping is clean and clear. No any Ink is left behind during our last use. If there is any ink left behind in stamping then this ink will mix up with the new one and will cause a dull or muddy color.

At last, check your medium properly. While using an ink pad, make sure for yourself that your ink-pad is working well and you must remove any unwanted bits of straw or wreckage before using it in stamping. In case of markers, if you are using markers for stamping, make sure your marker tip is well in shape and their ink is smooth with writing. And if you are using another medium for stamping work, i.e. paint. Make sure your paint is not dry. All these three mediums of coloring stamps have their own key functions.

The tools you are using while stamping are a crucial one. Just cross check the things that you haven't missed anything in your stamping. These are the things you used while coloring is scrap paper, a brush tip, a mister. While considering these easy steps. You may be able to prepare any stamps. These steps are same for we are talking about stamping.
