The best thing to do in the first place is to make sure that you can print to the printer while it is connected to a computer. By doing this you can be certain that it is working correctly and that there are no software issues are conflicts with the operating system.

Once you are happy with these two situations of the things that can cause problems are issues around IP addresses. Hopefully you are using DHCP as this will issue an IP address to every device on your network automatically. Some people prefer to use static IP addresses and I have come across some issues where there is a conflict with IP addresses and they are unable to print.

There can't really be so many issues around printing to a wireless printer. But, the good news is most of these can easily be resolved just by assessing the situation and figuring out what is going on.
