Crime rates are rising. According to the UKCrimeStats, data for robbery and burglary in England and Wales for the last two months (February and March 2012) are escalating. Apart from the 20% budget cuts within the UK police force, crime rates for England and Wales will continue to rise with the unfolding Eurozone crisis.

Despite the increasing incidences of robbery and burglary in these places, it is fortunate that there are still many ways how to secure your home and property as well as protect your loved ones from the dangers of these crimes. One effective solution is through the installation of monitored security systems. The following are examples of protection systems which are commonly used in most residential units and commercial establishments.

In the subsequent years, video systems captured and kept by CCTV systems had been widely used in covering vulnerable areas to deter criminals from committing crimes such as burglary and trespassing.
