Plug valves also known as stop-cock valves raise or lower a cylindrical plug, delivering immediate response and precise modulation of steam flow. Diaphragm valves, gate valves, regulators, servo valves, solenoid valves, spool valves, and toggle valves are other examples of steam valves.
