UCLA Alumni Associations: Opinions of Different Students

Almost each university has its own alumni association with its rules

, purposes, and ideas. The students of UCLA are lucky to become the members of the UCLA Alumni Association that is a volunteer-driven group of people. It was founded in 1934, and nowadays, it has more than 80,000 members and friends around the whole world. Its rich history, attention to each member, and desire to provide each graduate with support attract the attention of many people. Nowadays many students are not sure of their future careers and actions after they graduate from universities. This is why they go to the associations in order to find out necessary pieces of advice. Many people benefit from this organization considerably. 1. Alice, 30 "I fell in love with a young man when I was at the graduate course. I was too shy to say him about my feelings. When I graduated, I made a decision to join the alumni association of our university and cherished a dream to meet him there. My dream came true: he joined it as well. Having some common duties, we started talking and meeting. Now, we have two children and a number of common affairs." 2. Jack, 37 "When the time to graduate from a university came, I was not sure of what should I do next. My friends joined the association, so, I followed their advice. They helped me find out the necessary way and become a profound businessman. Thanks guys!" 3. Cameron, 28 "My parents are members of the alumni association. They know everything that happens in the university and try to help current students. Once, the members of the association provided our class with a possibility to visit the museum in another city. We were happy! I want to follow their example and make many other students as happy as possible during their years of studying."
