UFC 118 is scheduled for August 28, 2010 in Boston Massachusetts at the TD Garden venue. TD Garden is home to the Boston Celtics and Boston Burins and seats more than 19,000 fans. The third UFC fan expo will be coinciding with this event. Surprisingly after the Alessio Sakara vs Nate Marquardt fight got canceled for UCF 116 they are both rumored to be fighting at UFC 118, but not against each other. Dana White confirmed on ESPN MMA live that Randy Couture and James Toney will both be fighting at UFC 118. Watch UFC 118.

Some rumored match ups include; Joe Lauzon vs. Terry Etim, Nate Marquardt vs. Rousimar Palhares, Andre Winner vs. Nik Lentz, Marcus Davis vs Nate Diaz and Mike Pierce vs. Amilcar Alves. Some other fights that have reportedly been finalized by UFC but not yet announced are the Lightweight Championship bout with Frankie Edgar vs BJ Penn, Catchweight bout with Randy Couture vs James Toney, Lightweight bout with Kenny Florian vs Gray Maynard, Welterweight bout with Nick Osipczack vs Greg Soto, Middleweight bout with Jorge Rivera vs Alessio Sakara and the Middleweight bout between Phil Baroni vs John Salter. They have not yet announced the card so we are unsure who will be fighting in the preliminary, Spike TV preliminary and Main Card. Florian has been struggling with health issues as well as Edgar so these could delay these fights. This is the first UFC fight in Boston, legislation was just passed in November of 2009 to allow the state to oversee MMA events.

If the fan expo goes on at UFC 118 it will be a two day event, Friday August 27th and Saturday August 28, 2010 at the Hynes Convention center in Boston. The event will include training and development sessions at 150 dollars per session. Watch UFC 118.
