Lord of the Ants is the work of UK electronic artist and music composer Christopher Westcott. The astounding Mind Like Water lp is melodic and emotive with a hint of the East - Mind Like Water oozes sincere class and style. The recording includes many terrific arrangements and a haunting beauty encapsulated in some truly wonderful themes and a tremendous feeling of motion. The project also has an unexpected mix of innocence and maturity, and it is that atypical blend that makes the lp so instantaneously likeable and is going to enable Lord of the Ants to enjoy wide appeal all through the electronic, new age and chillout genres.

The Lord of the Ants galvanic, soul searching brand of melodic and emotive electronica is intensely motivated by electronic music's early adopters - which dutifully contain Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Brian Eno, Tomita, Vangelis and scores of former leaders of the original EM scene.
