During the power cut the battery starts discharging and produces electricity to run the attached appliances. When there is actual current the battery recharges itself. Due to the continuous ON mode the electricity starts producing instantly and during the cuts the appliances don't stop even for a fraction of seconds. Hence, this power protection system is good enough for office use.
