History

The next fans were Australian surfers who were looking to keep their feet warm when they left the sea. The surfers introduced the boots to the United States, where Uggs are made today. What is new is the outer sole, which was added to improve the boot"s traction and wearability. The company also drastically expanded its line to include slippers, clogs and shoes.

This boot also comes in a taller version with an 11-inch shaft, and in chocolate, chestnut, black, deep Atlantic or grey sheepskin.
Men
There are a few new models of Ugg shoes for men. Both the Ladigo and Califia models are made of smooth leather and can be worn in a casual environment as well as a professional one.
The rich, waxy leather Ladigo comes with interchangeable leather and sheepskin insoles. The liners are also designed to draw moisture from the foot and its cork-infused outsole will keep you on your feet. This model comes in black and stout "" a deep wine color.
The Califia looks similar to the Ladigo, but does not rise up on the heel. This slip-on model features the same rich leather uppers, interchangeable insoles and the cork-infused outsole. It also comes in black and stout.
Children
Youngsters probably need the warmth of an Ugg boot more than adults. After all, they are the ones who will spend hours playing in the snow and cold temperatures. Their hands may get numb from the cold, but their feet will stay warm. The kids" classic boot has all the same features of the adult boots, but come up just 6 inches high. For toddlers, the classic boot is available in chocolate, chestnut and black, and comes in toddler sizes 7 to 12. The classic boot for youth comes in a few more colors and is available in sizes 13 to 6.
