this UHF enterprise Gen 2 RFID reader which is designed for applications requiring a large number of tags and 2 or more antennae. Using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) to enable remote firmware management and monitoring, it is also suitable for real time status verification and modification.

This UHF enterprise Gen 2 RFID reader, model 216004, operates in an autonomous mode that allows it to be activated by external triggers or timing. Users can regulate the parameters of timing, protocols, antenna usage and other elements without network latency making it a highly flexible system with outstanding read rates. It offers convenient LED status indication for power, link, activity, Ant 1-3, CPU, read and fault. Up to 2500 data records can be saved into its non-volatile memory.

This high performance UHF Gen 2 RFID reader is configured with an XScale processor, Linux OS, 64 MB RAM and 32 MB Flash memory and is compliant with EPC Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6c standards. Four antenna ports are provided including multi-static topology, circular or linear polarization and reverse polarity TNC. In addition, its power fail safes protect important data in case of power loss or LAN disconnection.

This 902.75 MHz to 927.25 MHz Gen 2 RFID reader belongs to GAO's family of General Asset Monitoring Readers. This line also has many other ultra-high frequency readers, high frequency readers and low frequency readers such as 2.45 GHz Gain Adjustable Active RFID Reader which adopts the advanced 0.18um CMOS IC for ultra-low power consumption, 13.56 MHz RFID HF Bluetooth Reader/Writer which uses Bluetooth (Class Two) technology to upload tags ID to Bluetooth based computers/PDAs in a real-time mode and 125 kHz Handheld Guard Patrol Tour Terminal which is suitable for such applications as security patrolling, remote equipment inspection and maintenance.
