UHF Gen 2 RFID Reader with Integrated Antenna

Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has announced the release of this UHF 902.75 MHz to 927.25 MHz Gen 2 RFID reader with integrated antenna which is an ideal solution for both single and dual antenna applications. It utilizes a high-performance, circularly polarized antenna, which ensures a simple, affordable and low profile RFID installation.

This UHF Gen 2 RFID reader, model 216003, operates over an ultra-high frequency range of 902.75 MHz to 927.25 MHz. It has two inputs, two outputs and offers LED indicators for power, LAN link, RF-on and fault. It also provides a well-documented SDK with .NET and Java libraries which enables easy development of custom interfaces to control the reader. This portable reader has Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability allowing power to be delivered over properly-equipped local area networks.

The UHF RFID reader with integrated antenna supports EPC Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6C tag protocols, Alien reader protocol and LAN protocols including DHCP, TCP/IP and NTP. It communicates via the popular Alien Reader Protocol. In addition, the reader is also shipped with handy Alien RFID Gateway software that allows the user to develop solutions quickly and conveniently.

This UHF Gen 2 RFID reader with integrated antenna belongs to GAO's family of Inventory Management RFID Readers.
