Documents on access to investment funds

Letter from the financial institutions: The applicants are required to provide a confirmation in writing from each of the financial institutions that deposit the fund.

Bank statements: The applicant must also provide the bank statements the hold the money in UK. This should substantiate your access to the fund. The availability of funds should be at least 200,000 for UK tier 1 Entrepreneur.

Venture Capital: The applicant should also provide a letter from the UK government department confirming the seed funding. This amount should confirm the applicants access to 50,000 as seed fund.

Certificate on competency with English language:

The nationals of an English speaking nation can provide their valid and original passport to establish their competency with the English language. For the other nationals it becomes mandatory to take the English language competency test and then provide the original certificate of the test result. The English graduates can also show their original degree certificate to meet the English language requirement.

Evidence on Maintenance

The applicants must provide the following documents to substantiate the claims made on maintenance

Bank statements on personal banking for a period of 90 days, for not beyond one month of making the application

Building society statements or pass books for a period of 90 days, for not beyond one month of making the application

Certificates from banks that confirm the funds and the transactions

Letters from the financial institution that confirm the fund

Pass-port and Photographs

The applicants are also supposed to provide the original passport and the travel documents along with the most recent passport size photographs of self and the dependents. The photographs must also have the details of the individuals on the back.

The applicants are also required to submit an application online or in the written format i.e. application form VAF9. However the mode depends upon the country that the applicant hails from. The application, both online and written, must be complemented with the Appendix 3 of the form. The UK Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa Document Requirements also make it mandatory for the applicant to provide the finger-prints and the facial image as part of the biometric information during the application process. The migration policy states it very clearly that the document requirements may change from country to country. It is therefore very important for the applicants to must furnish the documents accordingly.
