. It can be mounted to any surface, including metal. The UHF RFID tag is widely used to track large value items and vehicles including construction parts, steel pipes and trucks in the petrochemical industry.

This durable, ultra-high frequency Gen 2 RFID tag, model 116406, operates over the frequency band of 860 to 960MHz and provides two options of memory capacity including a memory capacity of 96 bits compliant with an EPC Impinj Monza chip and a memory capacity of 512 bits compliant with an EPC NXP G2 chip. This UHF RFID tag exploits passive RFID technology to its fullest potential and can be read from distances of five to seven meters. The requirements for high-speed tag reading are met through C1G2 protocol compliance. It provides an IP68 protection rating and is encapsulated within a HIPS/ABS/PC case allowing for robust operation and a long life span in harsh environments.
