Four plastic bottles. What would you do with them?
Underarmour has decided to make a t-shirt. Introducing the Catalyst T for men and women. You try to recycle as much as you can but dohow often do you read about results from your good duty for the environment? This shirt begins with 4 empty soda or water bottles that someone like you recycles. Instead of going to a landfill the bottles are collected and re-used. They are made into fibers after being crushed and melted. These fibers perform by wicking sweat, protecting against the sun and holding up to the roughest elements. The UPF is 50+ which means you can be protected from the suns harmful rays even more than a regular sunblock.
I tried out the Catalyst T during a workout session. The first thing that is amazing is the fabric itself. When I read that the label said 100%polyester I was a little afraid that it would feel itchyand weird. Thefabric was incredibly soft to the touch. It's super lightweight it feels very durable and the fit is quite loose. I like the fact that it's UPF 50+. I wore it to my highly aerobic Zumba class and the room was hotter than a sauna, jammed with at least 30 women. The t-shirt was comfortable but best of all the sweat evaporated quickly from my body through the t-shirt and it did not stay wet. It gave me reassurance that the shirt was also anti-odor.
This t-shirtcost$30 and while that's more than I would pay for a basic t-shirt, this shirt is more than that. I like that I am wearing something thatis 100%recyclable and it really does perform. Leaveit to Underarmour to once again lead the way in clothing for athletes.I was so blown away about this shirt that I had to write an article about it. I really want other people toknow about this shirt since it's pretty new from Under Armour and might be harder tofind. Under Armour really does know how to be innovative!
