Step 1

Step 3
There will be a letter known as In-Principle Approval or IPA that is sent through e-mail from the Minister of Manpower when application is approved.The IPA must be presented to the Work Pass Division of Ministry of Manpower upon claiming the EP.The validity of IPA will hold 6 months, from the date when it is notified as approved.
Besides the IPA, the applicant or foreigner should also bring a medical exam report which can be completed in one's country of origin or in Singapore, original passport having the entry embarkation cards, a copy of recent passport size photo, and any other documents indicated on the IPA.
It is the sole decision of the Ministry of Manpower to evaluate applications for EP. The ministry takes into consideration pertinent aspects in evaluation such as present status of citizenship, salary of the applicant, age, pertinent work and experience, the company's paid-up capital and background, and expected roles and responsibility.
To be considered for eligibility, a foreigner or applicant must possess the following qualifications:
* A degree from a prestigious college or university or an educational Diploma:
* Specialist's skills
* Accomplished credentials
Nonetheless, though an education is among the primary factors, it may be compensated by other factors in its absence.So, not having a completed education or diploma will not be automatically eliminated by the Ministry of Manpower. In case of incomplete education, the following documents may be presented:
* A hard copy of Original Transcript of Records and relevant certificates
* Detailed Resume or Curriculum Vitae indicating the employment and education history
* Testimonials or Certificate of Employment from previous employers
* Detailed Passport Copy
Should the documents expressed in foreign languages, the same must be translated into English by an official translation service accredited by Singaporean authorities.
Relative to the purpose, the Employment of Pass are in 3 types namely P1 Pass, P2 Pass, and Q1 Pass.
In P1 EP, the foreigner must earn a fixed monthly income which should not fall below S$7,000 and whose position maintained is managerial, executive or specialist.
In order to attain P2 EP, one must have a fixed monthly earning of more than S$3,500. In addition to that, the applicant or foreigner must have adequate qualifications.
In order to attain Q1 EP, one must have a fixed monthly income of more than S$2,500. The applicant or foreigner must also have striking qualifications.
Once the EP is issued, the foreigners may apply for Dependent Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass for their family members.
