Nintendo has officially announced that they have not mentioned any pricing details to retail just yet for the newest GamePad

. However, that did not stop gossips and speculations to spread on the internet like wildfire. Just recently, several listing in separate online shopping websites for the new gaming consoles have been taken down.

It surely confused a lot of eager beavers to get their hands on the new Wii U ahead of everyone else. One of the online listing was posted on Amazon UK and was priced at only 199 pounds for the new console.

Surprisingly, it was flooded by a lot of gaming fans who wanted to buy their new gaming consoles first. The listing also stated that the GamePads were going to be shipped to them in July 14.

Amazon UK had to put the listing down and they even had their customer service department email each customer who availed of the pre-order option. The email stated the cancellation of the customer's pre-order in an remorseful manner because the listing was an error.

It also stated that the customer will not be charged for anything and they can even sign up for an email alert when the new gaming console becomes officially available on their website.

This certainly left a lot of UK online shoppers disappointed because they were hoping they could get their new GamePads earlier than expected. The new gaming console is expected to hit the shelves by late November, just in time for the Christmas season. We can consider unfounded and unofficial information on the internet as speculations and rumors for the mean time.

To avoid getting misled and cheated, it would be best if eager customers would just wait until the Japanese company announces the official release date and pricing information for the new console. In the first place, the listing that had the new console priced at 199 pound was actually too low to even be realistic.

A few years back, the first generation Wii was launched with a price tag of 179 pounds in the UK. The 20 pound-difference does not really make any sense at all, considering the touchscreen attribute that the new console now houses.

With all these unproven information on the internet, the Japanese gaming company still refuses to make any comments and confirmations. All they can guarantee for now is that the Wii U is going to be launched in November, a few weeks before the Christmas season.

This will surely make an excellent gift for hardcore gamers and gadget lovers. You still have several months left to save up for the new GamePad.
