1. Beer Tester - Get paid for tasting and spitting out beer? You bet! As a beer tester, you try existing and new flavors, and evaluate how they appeal to your taste buds.
2. Tampon Tester - You may have to go through 125 pieces of tampons a day, as a tampon tester. You check on the cord strength and absorbency of different tampon sizes. This is part of manufacturers' quality control, to ensure that a tampon passes the standards set by the Food and Drug Administration.
3. Safecracker - Have you ever wondered what happens when you forget the combination that opens your safe? You call on safecrackers. These people open safe using their fingers and ears.
4. Bounty Hunter - Believe it or not, going after people who skip bail can be very financially rewarding. Veteran bounty hunters make anywhere from $50,000 to $100,000 a year! A background in law enforcement will come handy, but it's not necessary. Make no mistake: like many unusual jobs, bounty hunting is not without its drawbacks. The hours can be long, and the job itself is highly dangerous. However, if you can take that in stride, then this job and the benefits that come with it may be just right for you.
In these hard times, it pays to spring at opportunities wherever you find them. These unusual job will give you a welcome break from the cubicle, and at the same time make sure you have a paycheck to wait for.
