They say big surprises come in small packages. The UNICEF, which is hot on the Haitian news today, has just proved that such saying is not clich but a real one, Haiti News. In an attempt to lend assistance to the victims of the January 12, 2010 magnitude 7.0 earthquake that struck Haiti, the UNICEF aside from the food and shelter relief it provides for Haitians, it created the emergency kit to answer the basic health needs of every Haitian victim. The emergency kit is simple and contains only the basics but very helpful to the Haitians who needed all the help they can get from warm hearted people who are willing to give simple things for their daily need, Haitian News. The emergency kit comes in three packages. When you donate $100, you can make ten Haitian family happy by providing them an emergency kit with the basic necessity including soap, water purification, towels, bucket, basin and detergent. The second package is worth $500 donation which includes medicines and equipments needed in reconstruction good for 16 families. Another one if the $1000 worth donation that can give water pump to Haitian for them to have a clean drinking water. For other people such donation is so small but for Haitian it is their lives that depend on it, Haiti Nouvelles.
