Uninstall Microsoft Office 2007 - Six Tips to Uninstall Microsoft Office 2007

I was told by my friend she needs to uninstall Microsoft Office 2007 for it could not work anymore. Step 1. Find out and remove all the installed folders and files of Microsoft Office 2007

1. Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in %windir%installer, click "ok", and open the installer folder.

2. Right click the white blank space and select View, Details.

3. Go to the Tool bar of the window, select View, select Status bar

4. Click each Windows Installer package and right click to uninstall any one that is related to Microsoft Office 2007.

Step 2. Quit the Office Source Engine

1. Click "Run" and type in services.msc to open the Services, find out and right click to quit the Office Source Engine

Step 3. Find out and remove the installing files and directories of Microsoft Office 2007

1. Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in %CommonProgramFiles%Microsoft Shared, click"ok", delete folders of Office12 and Source Engine.

2. Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in %ProgramFiles%Microsoft Office, click"ok", delete folders of Office12 again.

3. Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in%appdata%microsofttemplates, click"ok", delete files of Normal.dotm and Normal11.dotm.

4. Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in%appdata%microsofttemplates, click"ok", open the folder of 2052 or 1033, delete file of Building blocks.dotx.

5. Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in %AllUsersprofile%Application DataMicrosoftOfficeData, click"ok", delete all the files in this directory.

Step 4. Remove Temporary files of Microsoft Office 2007

Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in %temp%, click"ok", delete all the files.

Step 5. Remove Cache files of Microsoft Office 2007

Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in %windir%installer, click"ok", open the installer folder.

2. Select Tools, Folder Options, View, Advanced settings then, click or select the options below: A.. select the "Display the contents of system folders"; B. cancel the " Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" C. select " Show hidden files and folders"; D. cancel " Hide extensions for known file types", Apply, Apply to All Folders.

3. Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in MSOCacheAll Users, click"ok", delete all the files that contain 0FF1CE)-C

Step 6. Delete all the registry information of Microsoft Office 2007 in the Registry Editor.

1. Go to Start menu, click "Run" and type in regedit, click"ok", delete all the registry keys below:

o HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftOffice12.0

o HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall*0FF1CE*

o HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionInstallerUpgradeCodes*F01FEC

o HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionInstallerUserDataS-1-5-18Products*F01FEC

o HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesose

o HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTInstallerFeatures*F01FEC
