Mexico is a famous tourist destination in North America. It is famous for its unique and attractive culture as well as its marvelous beaches and wonderful architecture. Toluca de Lerdo is the state capital of Mexico State. Commonly known, as Toluca is the fifth largest and most rapidly growing urban area in Mexico, and it is the eighth largest city by population in the nation. Toluca and a nearby town Lerma were well known for a special sausage named chorizo sausage the recipe and making of this sausage is traditional. Toluca is now known as the most industrialized area in Mexico.

Major products of this city include Paper products, machinery, metals and metal works, auto production and food processing. The city is served by the Licenciado Adolfo Lopez Mateos International Airport, located just 15 km away from the city of Toluca and about 60 km from the capital of the country Mexico City this airport also serves to control and manage overflow of Mexico City airport. This airport also plays an important role in the boost of rapidly increasing commercial activities in the city. This airport is the fourth busiest airport in the country serving for many airlines having daily flights to Toluca and international flights to Mexico.

The number of visitors and tourists has also been rising since last few years. This city is not only a great industrial area but also a great tourist destination, there are many great attractions offered by this city like the Plaza de Fray Andres de Castro, Temple of La Merced, Plaza of the Martyrs or commonly known as Plaza de los Martires and Cathedral of Toluca.
