Stayed at the University Inn for Sturgis Falls weekend. Booked the room because of the great price and was pleasantly surprised by the value. Rooms are not luxurious but very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My sisters also booked a room and they were very pleased as well. I stayed in Room 51, which is in the back of the hotel, facing the neighborhood - our windows looked out over someone's really lovely garden - lots of nice breezes to enjoy but if you like AC, that worked great.

It was excellent for the price, but I'm not sure I will stay here again. I will probably shell out more money next time. I stayed in a "nonsmoking" room in the front area that really had bad odors. I'm pretty sure it was from the carpet. Kind of a mildew/dirt smell. The air conditioner worked fine and didn't stink, the mattress was worn and wrapped in plastic for some reason. The bathroom was clean with good clean grout and no mold, but the sink didn't drain very well. I guess I would stay here again if it didn't stink so bad. It was just okay in my book.
