The Motorola Cliq 2 was released in January 2011

. Its design is very close to the original Motorola Cliq cellphone, but has been modified with a chrome surround and curved soft touch plastic back. A few other notable upgrades are a bigger display screen, faster data, improved music player, a fantastic slide-out keyboard, new Android Operating-system, and much more. This is also a very good social-networking smartphone due to a number of great social networking widgets supplied by Motoblur. The mobile phone can work on 2G Networks (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) and 3G Networks (HSDPA 1700 / 2100 / 850).

The moment the unlock code has been typed in and accepted, your phone will be unlocked permanently. You may then put in a simcard from just about any provider and your cell phone should instantly acquire the network. In some cases you might need to modify certain settings on your phone (e-mail along with other web affiliated services) by simply pointing them to your new service provider.
