. So, if you don't like buying things that just sit there, this kind of collecting may be for you. One brand collectors go for are Schick Injector Razors, mostly because Pfizer decided not to sell the razors any longer, with exception in some parts of Asia.

When the Schick Injector Razor was introduced into the market, it caused uproar. Col. Jacob Schick was inspired by the repeating rifle he learned to use in the U.S. Army that he based a razor on its action. Named the Schick Repeating Razors, he sold the product to American Chain and Cable which produced the razor over the next two decades.

Because Schick Injector Razor products are difficult to look for, it's a great collector's prize. However, mass production gives collectors a few problems. First, it's difficult to place a specific date on them since the design has basically remained the same since the beginning. Second, not many razors exist in good shape because many men used them regularly.

Online, the only places where I could find any Schick injector razor that are in good condition are on eBay. Men who like the wet shave have found this to be the only really comfortable razor for this type of shave and they cannot find anything of modern invention to rival this 'outdated' razor.

Dating the razors are an important part of collecting. You have to read up on little differences, like the dates a certain type of material was used or when manufacturer's marks were changed. This added knowledge makes the distinction between a worthless bit of plastic and a sharp treasure.
