While this process can typically be successfully addressed through a fresh install of the current, or a new operating system, many users shy away from this fix due to their lack of interest in offloading all their files, re-installing programs and reconfiguring settings. Still, other users find that their systems simply have a hard time satisfying the processes they are tasked to complete. They may have the need to multi-task CPU intensive operations, only to find that their systems slow to an unusable crawl during the operation. In order to leverage remote software for these needs, all that is required is the existence of a friend, family member or co-worker running the same Remote Access Software with some CPU to spare. After initiating the remote connection, the user can offload the file or process to the remote system, and task its CPU with completing the process.

This can also be done on the users own secondary system, or even a computer that is located on the other side of the world and set to sleep mode. These remote control programs allow the option of waking a computer from sleep in order to make a connection. So, if you have a friend in India that has a spare system, you could easily log into that system at any time of day or night and have it perform the required task. Offloading these tasks can not only be an incredible time saver, it can also help a user to hold off an expensive system upgrade.
