The movement has transitioned quite a bit as urban clothing stores began to incorporate a blend of styles and colors, meshing the old and the new into a new color palette that appeals to a larger demographic. Instead of just offering the most popular brands, stores embraced innovation and turned to younger designers.

The new designers have taken established concepts such as designer tees and blended them with a variety of elements. The results are new, stylish looks that can carry the consumer from the office to the pub. A few years ago it wasn't appropriate to consider pairing a graphic tee with khakis. However, times have definitely changed. Slacks, sweaters, ties, sport coats, khakis, and jeans can all be blended in a variety of colors and styles to create new, innovative styles that look and feel great. And as these styles have become more prevalent, consumers are willing to take more risks in an effort to create their own styles. Let's be honest - some people need a little work in this area. The good news is that the styles have broadened enough to allow for some deviation from the norm ' just not too much deviation.

Whether it was funny quotes, pictures of cartoon characters, or even famous beer producers, the graphic tee was definitely infused with testosterone. Times have definitely changed. The demand (and thus the supply) for graphic tees for women has increased exponentially. The new tees offer a variety of options for women looking to diversify their wardrobes with a more casual look. For example, a girl looking for a cute top to wear to a birthday party might consider sporting a form fitting cotton graphic tee with a comical quote. For an event where she needs to register a little higher on the style meter, she may consider a graphic tee with a silkscreened flower or a butterfly.

The male clothing movement has also continued to expand. Men can now find a variety of casual and semi-formal clothing styles that have flooded urban clothing stores. The styles have been altered to allow a blend of different styles. Each of these blends can be applied to most situations where style is a key factor. For example, a guy may wear a graphic tee and diesel jeans to work on casual Friday. However, if he's meeting friends after work, he may bring along a sport coat and shoes for a nice dinner afterward. The opposite may also be true. He may wear a suit to work on a Tuesday. However, if he is going to catch a baseball game with friends, the graphic tee and jeans will help him transition from a business environment to a casual environment with little effort.
