Urge Incontinence – Don't Plan Your Life Around Bathroom Locations

Another solution is to watch what you eat. Spicy foods have long been associated with irritating the bladder lining causing incontinence. Caffeine is a natural diuretic and consumption of coffee, tea and soda should be watched carefully to minimize the effect.

Kegel exercises are isometric exercises designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles which are responsible for supporting and protecting the bladder. These exercises require no special equipment and can be performed anywhere.

Urge incontinence can be treated and you don't have to alter your active lifestyle simply because you have the condition. Check with your physiscian for the therapy best suited for you.
