Pretty much all households have cupboards, garages or lofts that become a place where things are put when they are not really used all that often
. A lot of the time items are just dumped in there without any real thought of when the time comes to find them again. They will be stashed in the first suitable space that is found so that it is done and out of the way as quick as possible. This however is not really the most suitable way of doing things as it makes it a nightmare when the time comes and you do actually need something that is stored away. For this reason, the best thing to do is to use an assortment of cardboard boxes to pack your items into a reasonably ordered fashion.
Boxes can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and different ones can come in handy for different things. An old shoebox for example, can be perfect for storing unused CD's or small items that you have fond memories of and want to keep together. You can use a larger box to keep books, kitchenware or spare bedding in. Similarly, they can come in handy for storing files and financial records that you may need to use further down the line. By choosing to use a box to keep things in you can use different ones for various areas of the house. All kitchen related items go in one whilst anything related to the bathroom can go in another. By clearly labelling each box you can easily find things when you do come to look for them.
Using cardboard boxes not only means that things can be clearly labelled and sorted but also that they can be neatly stacked. This will make much more use of the space being used and will mean that you will be able to either fit more stuff in or have more room to manoeuvre around things.
