We live in a global world therefore; we need global means of communication to stay connected with people all over the world

. One such reliable means of communication is VoIP web conferencing. VOIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol. VOIP is a general term for a family of transmission technologies for delivery of voice communications over IP networks such as the Internet or other packet-switched networks.

Web conferencing is used to conduct live meetings, training, or presentations via the Internet. This technology enables you to talk with two or more than two people. They get together to discuss any topic which is of business importance at the same point of time. One of the other such means of communication is audio teleconferencing. It is used to generate a conference call in order to connect more than two people present at different places with the help of an active telephone connection.

A conference call is not possible with any ordinary phone. There are phones which are specially made for conference calls called as conference call phone. These phones have some special features like: they provide us with the ability to establish effective communication throughout one's company. Voice quality and microphone sensitivity are the two most important aspects of not just conference phone but all the phones. Due to the presence of more than two people, if there is noise during the communication, the conference looses its whole purpose as it will lead to chaos and confusion.

The basic etiquette for a web or for that matter every conference is that, only one person should speak at one particular time and all other participants should listen to the speaker with utmost concentration otherwise it will lead to chaos and confusion. VOIP web conferencing is a very economical and convenient to use as its all done with the help of a computer system with an active internet connection and microphone attached headphones. Similar to a conference call, all the participants of a web conference have to be online at the same point of time otherwise the conference could not be successful. It is far better than audio teleconferencing.

In a conference call phone, the participants of the conference can only talk to the conference members whereas in a VOIP web conference, there are audio as well as video images of the participants thus, it feels as if all the conference members are present under one roof. Finally, one can say the world is shrinking day by day.
