Use Satellite Internet to DJ Your Party

Some of the greatest music to play at parties is rap and electronic music

. These genres are super fun to dance to, and have both become a mainstream form of pop music in the last couple of decades. But not everyone has a huge library of electronic dance and rap songs in their record collection or in their library of MP3 files on their computer, because these musical styles might not necessarily be the music that they listen to when they are working or studying or cooking dinner, etc. So how does one get all this rap music and electronic dance so that the party can be as fun as possible?

Luckily, satellite Internet has made this easier than ever. Instead of having to ask your friends to bring over records, or do something old school like taping the music off of the radio (!), or playing music that is just no fun to party to at all (seriously, who wants to listen to Neil Young at a party!), you can simply use your satellite Internet connection to DJ the perfect event. Here is how you can do it.

1. Make a list of the songs that you want to play.

Think of all the fun jams that you and your friends listen to. These might be as varied as a Notorious B.I.G. song like "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga to "Mo' Money Mo' Problems" to Salt n Peppa's "Push It", to "When Doves Cry" by Prince, to "Rich Girl" by Gwen Stefani to "Love In Da Club" by Usher to "Where's Your Head At" by Basement Jaxx to "Califonria Love" by Tupac and D.r Dre to "D.A.N.C.E." by Simian Mobile Disco to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce to "Love Shack" by the B-52s. Now that you have this list, you can proceed with procuring all the music. But how will you do that without spending a fortune on iTunes, you wonder?

2. Go to a video sharing website and search for all of the videos!

Any website that allows users to upload videos will certainly have a healthy collection of party jams for your viewing pleasure. With satellite Internet, all you have to do is open up the videos in a series of tabs, click pause on the videos themselves and let them load. You can, of course, DJ as you go through the party, but depending on your Internet connection, if you do things too last minute the videos might not load in time, and then the music will stop and everyone will be disappointed. Do not let this happen to you!

3. When the guests arrive, simply click play one at a time.

Now that you have the videos all opened up in different tabs, thanks to the miracle of your satellite Internet connection, all you have to do is click play one by one and let the party DJ itself. As you become more proficient, you will learn the techniques of fading between tracks. Using satellite Internet also allows you to make changes throughout the night to the lineup, depending on the mood of the party!
