As far as vans go the Vauxhall Astravan has always been a firm favourite but, recently a lot of other manufacturers have been introducing their own small sized vans. The Renault Kangoo is a good example of a popular panel van which is also a leisure activity vehicle.

Renault tailored the interior controls and functions for the Kangoo's everyday users, the steering is light, all the controls are easy to access and use. The ride is comfortable, it rides humps and potholes very well.

As expected from a van the suspension is quite firm and the sound proofing leaves much to be desired, the road noise can become unbearable on long distance motorway journeys. You can pick up a used 2007 Renault Kangoo for under 5,000.
