Oils have more uses than just for auto lubricants and cooking

. Oils have healing powers that have been used for centuries dating back to Egyptians and biblical times. These healing powers of oils can be anointed physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Not only can oils heal, but they are organic as well. There are more organic essential oils than just olive oil. Egyptians documented that they used organic essential oils such as frankincense and myrrh. The purpose of these organic essential oils was to fight off infections. Frankincense was used to guard against eye infections while myrrh protected the skin and made it soft.

Anointing oil physically can heal things that are acute or severe. Oils can relieve mild things like headaches, coughs, and sore muscles. It is also powerful enough to heal wounds, broken bones, pneumonia, and bronchitis.

The anointing is more than just a technique used when being reborn spiritually. Rubbing or stroking oil in areas that are in pain, out of balance, wounded, or inflamed is also considered anointing with oil. Drinking a concoction of oils in order to heal deep pain or wounds is also anointing with oil.

Records show that the use of oils to heal is an ancient practice. Priests and healers believed that oils could heal and used them frequently. They even kept documents of which oils to use for certain injuries or situations.

Egyptians were similar to priests and healers. Egyptians kept a record of their uses of oils like recipes. There are hundreds of these recipes and antidotes of concoctions that were used to heal ailments.

This allows the oil to reach the aura or energy field of individuals and bring them back into harmony or community.

Oils are so much more than lubricants in automobiles or an ingredient in the kitchen. They can be used to heal ones self physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This belief has been passed down and documented through time. Next time you need a little pick-me-up, use the Egyptians way and anoint yourself through varies oils.
