Using A Home Wind Turbine Can Help Lower A Power Bill

If you are one of the many that wonder if it makes sense to implement the use of

a wind turbine to help lower the monthly power bill then, I can tell you it makes more sense than you would believe. By building and installing a wind turbine, you can save at least 60% on your power bill, and as much as 80%.

Have you noticed all the windmills that have been popping up all over the country lately? This because with the advancement in technology made over the past decade has made windmills much more affordable than in past years.

Palm Springs has been using wind turbines for the past few decades to produce power and if you have ever driven through Palm Springs you have seen what seems like thousands of these windmills blanketing the country side.

A decade ago, wind turbines were large and bulky but, with technology today they have been greatly downsized so, they now can be used for home use. You could as my neighbor did, and build and install your own, or you can have a company do it for you, which, of course will cost much more.

After seeing my neighbor install a wind turbine on his roof, I spoke with him to see how hard it was. He told me it was very easy, and got the whole family involved so, it turn out to be a fun project for his whole family. He also told me it cost less than $300 with parts from the local hardware store, and took only a few days to build.

They have been using it for about five or six months now and I have been told that they are saving a minimum of 60% on their power bills and up to 80% when it is really windy. Since the cost of living keeps going up and my income does not I decided to look into building my own windmill and guess what, the neighbor was right it is possible and very feasible.
