Using Asp-dot-net Hosting Services For Least Amount Of Downtime
One of the largest concerns for both companies and Internet providers alike is the
ability to effectively host websites and ensure that all traffic can be supported. As the use of websites becomes essential in the new American economy, both hosts and companies are looking for viable ways to make sure that price and functionality are balanced. In a world where virtual private servers, shared virtual servers, and cloud hosting for services has become the norm, finding a flexible solution can be a challenge.
An option currently on the market which claims to provide a number of end-user benefits is the Microsoft ASP.NET website hosting system. This system includes a number of hosting choices that companies can select in order to find the balance of services that they need. Among the options, three stand out as the most common.
Shared Hosting on ASP.NET
In this framework, the hosting provider allots a fixed amount of space on a shared server to a company. This portion of the server granted will come with a finite amount of bandwidth and disk space that may be used by a company's website.
Shared services do not permit the installation of any programs from the client side, including backup options. The IIS server will not be configurable or changeable, as multiple companies will all be using the same platform and merely have it partitioned for their use. While this type of cloud hosting may not be ideal for companies that need precise control over their website server, it can be an excellent option for those just starting out.
VPS Hosting on ASP.NET
Using virtualization on the Windows Server, this brand of ASP.NET involves the use of a virtual private server in order to allow more control for the user over their website. With VPS hosting, a dedicated Windows server operates alongside other VPS plans on the same larger server. In this case, only limited sharing of resources takes place, and the VPS may be configured as the user wishes, using IIS and SQL.
While the VPS ASP.NET plan provides a far broader range of features to clients including memory space and bandwidth, some disagreement still exists over how CPU resourcing is quoted to companies, and this can lead to confusion as to exactly how much CPU functionality has been allotted to a company.
Dedicated Server Hosting on ASP.NET
This option is designed for those companies with high-resource applications for their websites, and provides a fully dedicated server for use. While almost everything in a dedicated server plan is for use of the company alone, CPU and I/O resources will still be shared with others on the VPS network.
