Using Board Of Plaster To Make Your Home Sound Proof

There are 3 main types of plaster boards are available to choose from,
1) Barrier board
It is an Australian made composite plaster board helps to reduce noise up to 75 percent, it is made up of two layers of different thickness and an insulating layer is sandwiched between these two layers. This comes in 32mm thickness; panels can be of various standard sizes. Because of the rigidness of barrier boards it will not bend after installation. Barrier boards can be installed directly on walls and doorways without making much change in architecture of the building.
2) Gyprock Sound check
Gyprock soundtrack is a 10 mm thick plaster board having dense core of gypsum which has the property to absorb and reflect the sound, and it is surrounded by thick heavy liner boards.
Sound check comes in two levels of resistances STC-45 and STC-50
First layer of this board makes the conversation and other sounds inaudible, level two makes loud sounds inaudible, needful layer armaments can be done to achieve various levels of soundproofing.
3) Boral sound STOP
Boral sound STOP is designed achieve high level of soundproofing, used in high performance acoustic walls and ceilings. These boards are available in 10 mm and 13 mm thickness sizes. This system can be used in several Boral systems like cinema hall, part halls and quite living system etc. normal doorways can be used to apply this board, it reduces high pitch noises into murmur sounds. Higher level of soundproofing can be achieved by adding another layer of this board. Most preferably used in cinema halls to enhance audio visual experience.
Improve sound proofing
In soundproofing techniques plaster boards are considered to be efficient, plaster boards should be combined with roof insulation, wall insulation, solid core doors and door seals. In home theaters carpeting and furnishing with plaster boards dampens the sound more efficiently. Noise from outside world enters in the home through the gaps left between and below the doors, windows if this is sealed correctly, no noise can enter in home, in the sense home is insulated and noise proof.
