. Canada requires that you have a pleasure craft operator card. You get this card by either taking a classroom course, taking an online course, or by taking the test without taking a class first. You can take the test without having a course first if you have already taken a boating safety course. Boating can be great for summer recreation but they are also very dangerous if you are not careful.

It is a good idea to take a boating safety class even if you do have your boating license or pleasure craft operators card. The boating class is not mandatory if you have a boating license to operate a boat but it is a good idea if you want to be safe.

Boats are used for different reasons, there are some people that use boats for water sports and some people that use them as a way to enjoy leisure fun. It really does not matter why you use a boat, if you are operating it wrong then it could be very dangerous.

If you are on a boat then you should have a life vest on the whole time. If your in a boat and it flips or you having a boating accident then the life vest could save your life if you are knocked out. If you are going to be on a boat then you must learn and follow all the safety rules while on the boat.

Boats are fun but they can also be very dangerous if you are not following the safety rules on the boat. If you are going to be on a boat but you do not know all the boating safety rules then it is a good idea for you to take a boating safety class before you get on the boat. Boating safety courses are not only just for drivers of boats. Anyone who plans on being on a boat should take these classes.

If you have children that will be riding in a boat you should have them take a safety course as well. If your child does not follow these safety rules then it is best to take them off the boat immediately. If you are the driver or owner of the boat and someone on your boat is not following the safety rules you should remove them immediately.

If you are the owner or driver of the boat and someone is breaking the safety rules on the boat or the boating laws then you could get a citation for it. Under no circumstances should you ever allow people to bring alcohol on your pleasure craft. Having alcohol on a boat is illegal and dangerous. It is never a good idea for people on a boat to be drunk.

While you are planning a fun time on the water with your boat or pleasure craft then you should make sure to tell anyone that may end up getting on your boat to take a boating course. You should also go over all the boating safety rules before you head out into the water on your boat.
