Using Free Information - The Trick That's Missed

You've probably noticed the mass of free information on the internet

, including about having your own internet business. The trouble is that most people just see it as that: free information. This is a mistake. Many people pay a lot of money, either in lump sums or in bits over time, to get that very same information. Of course, most people still don't do anything with it.

1 Decide what information you want. Let's say you're starting your online internet marketing business and you want to know the first things you need to do. There's so much free information on this it's unbelievable how much there is. Search in the search engines, go to blogs, go to forums, download ebooks and read articles.

2 Organize it. Too many people don't write things down or keep some sort of record. Take notes as you gather all this information. You can start to use main headings and sub-headings as stuff builds up. If you mindmap you can connect ideas together with arrows. Organize it any way you can so it hangs together and gives a plan for a course of action.

3 Write out the course of action. Once you've organized it, leave it for a bit. When you come back to it, draw out or list that course in as clear a way as you can. See if you can have main actions within which are smaller actions. For example, having a squeeze page means having hosting and an autoresponder.

4 Take action. As you work through your course of action and you come across problems or further opportunities, add them to your course of action with the solutions and possibilities for development.

5 Sell your information. Once you've gotten through it successfully, you can write it out as a course or ebook. You have your first and original product.
