Using Projectors At Live Demonstrations

If you earn your living by conducting product demonstrations and live presentations

It may sound like a clich but it's true - a picture really is worth 1,000 words. And video is worth exponentially more - that's why it just makes sense to use an LCD rental projector if you're hosting a live presentation or product demo. When your group size exceeds about a half-dozen observers, you don't want people jostling for room just so they can see what you're demonstrating (or worse yet, bypassing your demonstration completely).

With nothing more than a laptop or video camera and a rental projector, you can transmit larger-than-life images of your live demo so that everything can see what you're doing. From cooking demonstrations to network marketing presentations to gadget demos, there are countless industries and sales reps who can benefit from adding a rental projector to their live demo.

Additionally, a projected presentation offers crowd appeal, and as more people gather around your demonstration station, more people are likely to be attracted to see what all the fuss is about. The use of an LCD rental projector helps people to spot you from across the store, the festival, or the trade show floor. More viewers ultimately means more sales, and more money in your pocket.

If you're just starting out, you may find it helpful to video your presentation and review the video to find ways to improve it. Video has an uncanny way of capturing those things that we tend to tune out, such as stammers, verbal irritations (um, like, you know), physical irritations (fidgeting, hands in pockets, fussing with hair or clothing), and swaying, to name a few. Many a sales person has looked on with amazement to see video of themselves during a presentation -- it's truly remarkable how much we simply don't notice about our presentation until we can see it on a playback screen.

Finally, there is one additional major advantage to using an LCD projector at your next sales presentation or demo. (This is particularly effective if you're hosting a booth on a trade show floor or some other massive event.)

If you have to step away from your station for any reason, you can use your rental projector to run video of your presentation in your absence. Sure, it's true that an in-person demonstration will always be more effective than video, but this is an effective way to keep the show rolling, even if you need to take a break or use the bathroom.

There are countless ways to use a projector at a live demonstration -- the possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
